A long-planned residential project in Reynoldstown is moving from proposal chatter into visible construction near the Atlanta BeltLine, according to Urbanize Atlanta. The site is where Chester Avenue meets Fulton Terrace, about a block north of Memorial Drive and near the BeltLine's Eastside Trail.

The project is tied to the Camber Crossing site at 195 Chester Ave. Urbanize reported that Atlanta-based Embry Development Company bought the roughly 2-acre property from Toll Brothers and is moving forward with a permitted plan for 85 residential units. The first active piece is 33 townhomes, now under construction and being developed by Lennar.

Lennar's current Camber Crossing page lists the community as Coming Soon at Chester Ave and Memorial Dr in Atlanta and describes it as an upcoming townhome community. The page does not list public prices, floor plans, or an opening date yet, so readers should treat those items as still unconfirmed until Lennar posts them directly.

Urbanize also reported that a five-story condo component is still planned on the western side of the property, but that piece has not moved into construction. Earlier Toll Brothers marketing materials described 52 two-bedroom condos, but current condo timing, pricing, and final design details have not been publicly finalized.

For East Atlanta Village readers, this is a Near EAV watch item because Reynoldstown, Memorial Drive, and the BeltLine corridor sit in the same eastside development orbit as EAV, Ormewood Park, and Glenwood Park. New for-sale housing near the trail can affect traffic patterns, visitor movement, and the broader conversation about housing supply around southeast Atlanta.

What to watch next: the townhome sales launch, any public floor-plan or pricing release from Lennar, and permitting movement for the separate condo building.
