Urbanize Atlanta reported April 30 that Pellerin Real Estate had completed demolition work inside the former Truist branch at 514 Flat Shoals Ave. SE and was dividing the building into multiple retail spaces. The report says Bull Realty is handling leasing and that floorplans show the two-story building split into four suites and related space totaling more than 12,000 square feet.
The building sits at a key Flat Shoals and Glenwood crossroads in East Atlanta Village. Urbanize reported that the former bank vault is being kept in place and that the structure, known as the Marbut and Minor Building, was built sometime between 1911 and 1916. The report also says the property is considered an important part of the East Atlanta Historic District, which joined the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.
